Rapper EL has won the Artiste of the Year award at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards show
With the most nominations for the 17th edition of the Ghana Music Awards, Hiplife artiste EL won the Artiste of Year for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016.
He beat competition from Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, SP Kofi Sarpong and VVIP to emerge tops.
The Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday hosted the event which saw splendid performances from Efya, Sarkodie, Joe Mettle, R2bees and Adomaa.
Other big winners for the night were: Bisa KDei, Stonebwoy, VVIP and Sarkodie.
