Students Of Accra Institute Of Technology Lament On Increment in Summer Fees

During our recent interview with some students of Accra Institution of Technology on the 6th of April 2016 at the school premises. We got to discover that they students of the institution were bitter about the increment in the summer school fees which is about 750ghc for a couse which is equivalent to 75 thousand naira in Nigeria currency.  They didnt only push their annoyance to the school authority,  they went ahead on saying that the so-called student body SRC and NSA where not doing their work.



But we got to discover that summer school is not compulsory for students, it is only meant for students who want to redo their courses or those who want to graduate early. But some students who later came for the interview said that the main reason the got involved or enrolled in the summer school was because it was cheaper than the normal school,  but now its vice versa.  They also said that their school have been extorting from them in various ways and they have also deprived them from airing their views which is not right.
So they finally came to a conclusion by saying that all students who have been doing the summer should come together for once,  and forfeit the summer school for this year since the school is not ready to reduce the fees.
