In a bid to mark world malaria day, the current brand ambassedor of Face of Independence Nigeria 2015/2016 'Queen Cynthia Adinmah' went on an outreach in bayelsa state which is one of the southern
regions in Nigeria, on the 22nd of April 2016 where she distributed over 200 hundred free mosquito treated nets to two different communities in the state(kolo ogbia/bebelebri2) and in addition to fight the killer disease she also administered free malaria test, medical checkup and drugs.
Queen Cynthia Adinmah in her speech urged Africans to contribute to our growing community by playing their role in ensuring that the society becomes a maleria free one.
Her birthday party which came up on the next day which was the 23rd of April 2016, was marked as a charity fundraiser event, so the team could raise funds for their next outreach. In attendance for the charity event were top Nigerian celebrities, fashion designers, entrepreneurs, musicians, models and beauty Queens and the event was held at the prestigious Aridolf Resort centre yenegoa town in Bayelsa state
