Accra institute of technology is a renowned university in Ghana, with competent lectures and Good student, environment which is not conducive for learning, you will understand what am saying when it rains during classes or exams. The school as 3 different campuses around Accra but none is favorable for students. Evening students pay the same amount of school fess as the day student which I must say is not fair, Students go to school at 5:00pm and return by 10:00pm which is very risky and has aided an abet in the death, rape and missing of their students, Examination time table is changed 3 days to exams or even when exams are going on.

Senate in Nigeria ask JAMB to extend Validity of results to 3 years

 

ABUJA— THE Senate, yesterday, directed the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to begin to extend the validity of its results to a period of three years.
This was even as it ordered the board to immediately stop its policy of re-assigning candidates to schools they never applied to, saying such policy was contrary to the act establishing the board.
To this end, results obtained from the board by candidates seeking admission into universities are expected to last for three years.

19 year old Student in Ghana by Name Ephraim Okoro Arrested For Robbery

Ephraim Okoro
Ephraim Okoro, a 19-year-old Nigerian schooling at Golf City College, Dansoman in Accra, has been nabbed for allegedly robbing his compatriot at Atico, an Accra suburb.
He was said to have been apprehended in the act on October 1, 2015 by a police patrol team but his accomplice, identified as Chimeze aka Cheeboy, managed to escape arrest.
Items found on Okoro included two pairs of pliers, a machete and two facial masks.
Suspect is in the custody of the Odorkor District police assisting in investigations, while efforts are being made to apprehend his accomplice.

The have also refused to change the exchange rate. while dollars is dropping and other banks are changing their rates this bank as refused to change theirs due to their selfish interest as stated by some of the students in Ghana during their conversation with Campus Amebor. Black student admits to hanging ‘White Only’ signs next to water fountains, bathrooms

A black college student this week acknowledged  posting “White Only” and “Black Only” signs next to restrooms and water fountains on campus. It turned out to be a student art project that didn’t go over well.
“It brought up feelings of a past that our generation has never seen, which I think is why it was so shocking for us to see,” said Micah Oliver, president of the Black Student Union, according to local ABC affiliate Channel 27 News
More than 100 students turned out for Wednesday night’s Black Student Union meeting at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where emotions were inflated when they discussed the signs.
“There was fear expressed, anger, disappointment all of that,” Oliver said.

Dean of Law in UNICAL suspended over alleged rape of student

The Dean of the Faculty of Law University of Calabar, Professor Cyril Ndifon has been suspended by the authorities of the school following an allegation that he raped a 20-year-old 400-level student(names withheld) in his office on August 29th.
Vanguard reports that the mother of the victim, Mrs. Irene Akpan had petitioned the Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Ivara Esu over the allegations. A panel was set up and after much deliberation, suspended Professor Ndifon yesterday September 10th.
