Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna central, has revealed that the reason Abdullahi Adamu was removed as the chairman of Northern Senators forum was a case of mismanagement of N70 million belonging to the Northern Senators.

Shehu Sani said it was alleged that the money was swallowed by the monkeys at the senator’s farm.

Former Chelsea forward Didier Drogba's 17-year-old son Isaac has joined French Ligue 1 club, Guingamp.

Isaac Drogba, who like his father plays as a striker, has previously played for Chelsea's academy. He joins Guingamp 16 years after his father signed for the club in an £80,000 move from Le Mans.

Didier Drogba, who scored 24 goals in 50 appearances for Guingamp, posted on Instagram: "Couldn't be more proud of you Isaac Drogba."

Didier Drogba spent less than two seasons at Guingamp's Stade de Roudourou before signing for Marseille, where he spent a year before joining Chelsea in 2004. He went on to win the Premier League four times, the FA Cup four times and the Champions League, as well as playing 104 times for the Ivory Coast. In an interview in 2015 he said his son, who was born in France, wanted to play for England.

MAN DIES OF HEART ATTACK AFTER MASTURBATING 62 TIMES ON VALENTINES DAY

A 33-year-old South African man, David Mabuza has reportedly died of heart attack after masturbating 62 times in a row.

Mabuza, who lived with his parents, was found dead in his bedroom after apparently self-servicing too much. It is speculated that he was suffering from depression due to being “extremely lonely” on Valentine’s Day.

A teenage Boko Haram suicide bomber last night detonated a bomb close to one of the hostels in the University of Maiduguri, Borno state. The 13 year old suicide bomber was however the only victim of the attack.

Boko Haram has carried out series of attacks in the school. In January 2017, the sect struck in the university killing four people, including an infant and a professor. Since then as much as five attacks have been recorded in the institution. As many as 70 lecturers of the institution have resigned since the school began to witness attacks from the sect.

AIR PEACE AIRLINE ESCAPES AIRCRASH HAS CATTLES TAKES OVER RUNWAY

An Air Peace flight was unable to land at the Akure airport on Saturday because the runway was overrun by cattle.

The herd of cattle reportedly strayed onto the runway of Akure airport in Ondo state around 12pm, at about the same time flight P4 7002 was supposed to land, and airport officials were unprepared for it because it took them by surprise. It took the intervention of officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and other security operatives to clear the runway for safe landing.

A 20-year old Kenyan lady stunned many after she handed her man of over four years the keys to a brand new Mercedes Benz E200 on Valentine's day.

According to reports, Fridah Kariuki, a model student from Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) borrowed the money from her dad to buy her man Michael Musyimi the Mercedes because he had always wanted one.

Fridah claims that Michael has been financially and emotionally supportive to her, and she thought it was nice he gets a special gift on Valentine's day.

Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have killed two students of the Federal University, Lafia. One of the students killed had graduated with first class from the economics department and was processing his final clearance while the other was in 400 level, English Department. The gunmen had stormed the students’ village at Mararaba-Akunza, opposite the university gate at about 10:30pm on Wedsnesday night and shot sporadically. The bullets hit the victims. One of them died on the spot while the other one died while being rushed to the hospital.

The remains of the two students have been deposited at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia.

Confirming the incident, the Nasarawa State police spokesman, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, says investigations into the matter has commenced.

A suspected gunman has been arrested after opening fire on a Florida high school, leaving at least 50 injured. The 'heavily armed' shooter, named as student Nicolas Cruz, 19, entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, armed with what appears to be an assault rifle, and began shooting at just after 2pm. At around 4pm, two hours after the shooter first opened fire, police and SWAT teams took him into custody.

Police describe him as a student and member of the U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. Video shows him wearing a maroon or burgundy colored top as he was put in the back of a cruiser by half a dozens officers.

The management of Chrisland Schools has sent an email to parents reassuring parents of their children's safety. This comes after reports surfaced online two days ago of a 47-year-old supervisor in the school, Adegboyega Adenekan, who allegedly sexually molested a 2-year-old girl in the school. Ade was accused of molesting the little girl who was in the Lekkibranch of the school in November 2016. A video recording of the little girl describing how the school supervisor molested her was played at the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Monday February12th.

The Nigeria Football Federation on Monday released the names of coaching crews of all the National Teams, except those of the Senior Men Team (Super Eagles), U-20 Women (Falconets) and U-17 Women (Flamingos) whose contracts are running.

VALENTINE: NACA Advises Youths to Love Wisely

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has advised Nigerians, especially youths, to “love wisely’’ as they prepare to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14. Dr Sani Aliyu, the Director General, NACA, gave the advice in a statement issued by the Head, Public Relations and Protocol of the agency, Mrs Toyin Aderibigbe, in Abuja on Monday.

Two operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, names withheld, have been reportedly killed by suspected armed herdsmen at korakga Uvir in Guma local government area of Benue state. Valentine's day came early for Amara Linda after her boyfriend proposed to her with a ring and a car.

The newly engaged woman was shocked and broke down in tears after her boyfriend took her outside and showed her the new car. She was so overwhelmed that she fell to the floor and began crying while her friends intervened and helped her up.
