Hit 95.5 FM Celebrates 2nd Year Anniversary in Calabar by Sharing Free Fuel to Commuters and also Organizing a Concert

Calabar’s No. 1 urban contemporary radio station Hit 95.9 FM for two days, gave out fuel to car owners at strategic filling stations in the Calabar Metropolis. The station did this as part of the activities to mark her 2nd anniversary which was on the 1st of February, 2018.

The Head of Programmes and Production, Hit 95.9 FM, Mr. McDonald Peter-Anyangbe, alongside On Air Personalities and staff were on ground at the filling stations, Eddy Excel and Uddy King on Tuesday, 30th January and Wednesday, 31st January respectively, after it was announced on air, to put smiles on the faces of listeners who got free fuel each.

COURT SENTENCE CHIBOK SCHOOL ABDUCTOR TO 15 YEARS INPRISONMENTINPRISONMENT

The Federal High Court sitting in Wawa Cantonment, Kainji, Niger State, yesterday February 12th, sentenced 35-year-old Haruna Yahaya pictured above, to 15 years imprisonment for participating in the abduction of the Chibok school girls and other terrorism offences. Yahaya had pleaded guilty to the charges of terrorism filed against him by the Federal government.

Mr Adegboyega Adenekan, 47, a Supervisor at Chrisland School is currently standing trial over his alleged defilement of a two year old pupil in his school. The Nigeria Football Federation on Monday released the names of coaching crews of all the National Teams, except those of the Senior Men Team (Super Eagles), U-20 Women (Falconets) and U-17 Women (Flamingos) whose contracts are running.

Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed told thenff.com that the appointments are with immediate effect, and that his committee has done due diligence on all the names and approved the constitution.

A video of a two year, 11 month-old pupil of Chrisland School, Lekki, Lagos portraying her alleged serial defilement by the school’s supervisor, 47 year old Mr Adegboyega Adenekan, was played today at the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court.

The Nation reports that the video was played during the testimony of Miss Olive Ogedengbe, a clinical psychologist, at the trial of Adenekan over defilement of a child.
